The line-up of Audio Hungary’s Classic Series amplifiers has been expanded with a new member, the Qualiton P200 power amplifier, which was presented to the public for the first time at the HIGH END Munich 2022 exhibition.
The P200 is a versatile, high power amplifier, built on Tung-Sol KT120 (optionally KT150) beam tetrodes and Audio Hungary’s latest transformer designs. The P200 features the latest version of Audio Hungary’s sophisticated Automatic Bias Control System for the four power tubes too. This circuit continuously monitors the behaviour of each tube and regulates the bias voltages accordingly, ensuring the smallest possible output voltage noise while guaranteeing the highest degree of linearity of the output stage. It also prevents the sensitive, high permeability transformer cores from saturating by precisely equalizing the quiescent currents of the power tubes. Finally, the bias system has a built-in soft-start function too, which prevents the tubes from drawing excessive current during start-up and eliminates pops and noises during power-up. The above means that no further adjustment is required once the electron tubes supplied with the unit have been installed, the circuit automatically takes care of everything.
The amp has two distinct modes of operation, STEREO and BRIDGE mode. You can change the operating mode by reconfiguring the output connections, then use a STEREO INPUT /BRIDGE INPUT selector switch to select the input source for the chosen operation mode.
In STEREO mode the P200 can be used as a conventional stereo power amplifier which has two unbalanced outputs for 4 or 8 Ohm speakers, with a maximum available output power of 2 x 100 W. In this mode you can connect an UNBALANCED or BALANCED stereo signal source to the amplifier.
In BRIDGE mode the P200 can be used as a monoblock power amplifier with a BALANCED input. In this mode you can concentrate the total output power of the P200 into a single channel: the two channels of P200 are fed from a monaural, symmetrical audio signal (BRIDGE input), and a single 8 Ohm loudspeaker can be connected between the two amplifier outputs, bridging the output terminals. The maximum available bridged, monaural output power is 1 x 200 W.

All other Audio products THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER ONLY AND MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS. YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE OR SALES RECEIPT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR COVERAGE UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
If at any time your Audio Hungary product malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, we will repair the defect(s) or replace the unit, as deemed appropriate in our sole discretion. Audio Hungary reserves the right to use materials regularly utilised at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. If replacement of your Audio Hungary product is deemed appropriate by our staff, we will replace it with one of the same or most similar style of a value not in excess of the original purchase price of your product.

The above warranties do not apply if the product has been damaged by accident or misuse or as a result of modification by other than the Audio Hungary’s factory service facility.
Audio Hungary or Audio Visual Technology Solutions shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind arising from the sale or use of its products.
Warranty Outside the United States Audio Hungary has formal distribution agreements in many countries. The Audio Hungary importer in those countries has assumed the responsibility for servicing Audio Hungary Qualiton products. Please contact the dealer or distributor in the country where you purchased your product for any service issues
Note: All warranty returns should be sent to Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited freight prepaid through an authorised UK dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchase (a copy of the original sales receipt). Direct returns from consumers or non-authorised dealers will be refused unless specifically authorised by Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited with a valid return authorisation number. Warranty expiration on products returned without proof of purchase will be determined from the manufacturing date code. Coverage may be invalidated as this date is previous to purchase date. Return only defective components. Non-defective items received will be returned freight-collect at the expense of the customer. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance in sending the product to Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited. Freight damage on returns is not covered under warranty. Always include proof of purchase (sales receipt).
Note: Products that require inspection and repair should be packed carefully, preferably in the original packaging material. Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited may charge the customer under its discretion for supplying new packaging material if deemed that the packaging material supplied by the customer is not fit for shipping of the products after remedial work is complete.
