The Qualiton X200 is designed to serve analogue enthusiasts who need a combination of a high-performance vacuum tube power amplifier and a versatile preamplifier, along with sophisticated technical details, built into a single chassis. In this way, perfect matching is achieved - both sonically and technically - between the main signal processing sections.
The most important aspect of the design process was to meet the widest possible range of user needs in a compact footprint. All internal circuits were designed from scratch, avoiding the usual clichés throughout, to create a complete all-rounder. The X200 can be used as a separate preamplifier, as an integrated power amplifier, as a stand-alone power amplifier with direct inputs, or as a headphone amplifier, but other configurations are possible.
The low noise analogue front-end built around a wideband and transparent circuit and features a phono preamp with enhanced precision too. Line level and subwoofer outputs are absolute necessary in this category, these ports are included on the back. Audio Hungary have added a real specialty too: a built-in, studio grade Parallel Equalizer. This kind of tools is primarily used as a master channel effect in recording studios, to bring fresh air into the mix, as a finishing touch. Audio Hungary found that this effect can also be a huge help at home as well, as it can breath new life into certain, not so vivid records.
The balanced power amp is based on KT120 (optionally KT150) beam tetrodes and our latest, fully symmetrical output transformer design. Due to the symmetrical circuitry, we were able to further reduce the output noise of the output stage. In addition, our new BIAS section on the front panel makes it really easy to check and fine-tune the bias levels of the output tubes.
Audio Hungary’s popular X200 integrated amplifier has the latest version of our sophisticated Automatic Bias Control System introduced in the P200 earlier this year.
This circuit continuously monitors the behaviour of each tube and regulates the bias voltages accordingly, ensuring the smallest possible output voltage noise while guaranteeing the highest degree of linearity of the output stage. It also prevents the sensitive, high permeability transformer cores from saturating by precisely equalizing the quiescent currents of the power tubes. Finally, the bias system has a built-in soft-start function too, which prevents the tubes from drawing excessive current during start-up and eliminates pops and noises during power-up. The above means that no further adjustment is required once the electron tubes supplied with the unit have been installed, the circuit automatically takes care of everything.

Your new Audio Hungary Qualiton product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period, subject to the limitations contained in this warranty. The period of warranty coverage for your Audio Hungary Qualiton product can be found in your owner's manual.
All other Audio products THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER ONLY AND MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS. YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE OR SALES RECEIPT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR COVERAGE UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
If at any time your Audio Hungary product malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, we will repair the defect(s) or replace the unit, as deemed appropriate in our sole discretion. Audio Hungary reserves the right to use materials regularly utilised at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. If replacement of your Audio Hungary product is deemed appropriate by our staff, we will replace it with one of the same or most similar style of a value not in excess of the original purchase price of your product.

Warranty Outside the United States Audio Hungary has formal distribution agreements in many countries. The Audio Hungary importer in those countries has assumed the responsibility for servicing Audio Hungary Qualiton products. Please contact the dealer or distributor in the country where you purchased your product for any service issues
Note: All warranty returns should be sent to Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited freight prepaid through an authorised UK dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchase (a copy of the original sales receipt). Direct returns from consumers or non-authorised dealers will be refused unless specifically authorised by Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited with a valid return authorisation number. Warranty expiration on products returned without proof of purchase will be determined from the manufacturing date code. Coverage may be invalidated as this date is previous to purchase date. Return only defective components. Non-defective items received will be returned freight-collect at the expense of the customer. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance in sending the product to Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited. Freight damage on returns is not covered under warranty. Always include proof of purchase (sales receipt).
Note: Products that require inspection and repair should be packed carefully, preferably in the original packaging material. Audio Visual Technology Solutions (UK) Limited may charge the customer under its discretion for supplying new packaging material if deemed that the packaging material supplied by the customer is not fit for shipping of the products after remedial work is complete.
